Other
Martin would focus first on a cultural realignment, because of the department's history of racial profiling and unjustified use of force.
Use Sound Transit plan
Martin would focus on both buses and rail. Hastily laying down light rail is not good, you should plan the whole system.
End them
Martin opposes tent cities, and is against tents as even a temporary solution to homelessness.
OK as affordable housing
Martin supports micro-housing, which she said is working throughout the world. She doesn't think the brand-name aPODments have worked well in Seattle, but she is open to micro-apartments as affordable housing.
Wrong location
Martin wants a basketball stadium, but doesn't think the Sodo site is a good spot for it. She also opposes the city's financial contribution.
Other
Martin supports charging more for parking, but thinks keeping the meters running until 8 p.m. is too hard on businesses.
