Lynne Robinson on the issues

Affordable housing

Robinson believes the government should find ways to create more workforce and senior housing, but admits she doesn't yet know how best to do it. Redevelopment of the Bel-Red Corridor presents "a great opportunity" to build homes for lower-income people.

How can the city fund roads to support high-density growth?

Since the City Council backed away from an earlier funding plan that would have raised property taxes as well as developer fees, she says it's time to start over and craft a plan that has support of major business groups.
