Shari Song on the issues

Countywide paid sick leave

Song thinks the county should consider mandated paid sick leave, similar to the policy Seattle passed last year. The details would need to be studied, she said, but it's a matter of public health.

King County parks levy

Song supported the parks levy, and said Dunn’s opposition to the six-year levy is an indication he is out of step with the rest of the county. Nearly 70 percent of county voters voted to approve the levy.
